Provide a full range of inspection and disposition support for the Hot Runner Manufacturing system. This includes support of Plates, Manifolds, Purchased Components, Assembly, Product Development, and internal Continuous Improvement projects, using both Coordinate Measurement Machine software and manual inspection equipment.
Inspect Incoming Purchased Parts based on MIL-Standard Sampling Plans
Multitask and schedule workload to support Plates, Manifolds, Assembly, Product Development, and internal Continuous Improvement projects
Interpret and clearly communicate inspection results
Understand and accurately interpret Product Drawings and tolerances
Inspect full breadth of purchased components and internally manufactured productsusing MIL-Standard Inspection Plans
Plastic Molding Job Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in a related field and 3 years of quality assurance experience preferred.
Capable of using a wide range of metrology equipment, including but not limited toShadow Graph, Bore Gages, Gage Blocks, Depth Micrometers, and Profilometers
Ability to multitask and handle demanding time requirements
A clear sense of urgency with ownership on all actions assigned
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work well as a team, both in a lead and team member capacity
