In this role, you are a core member of new product development team(s), responsible for developing and implementing new injection mold tooling and processes to production in support of business unit’s strategic objectives. You will work on intercompany projects of medium / high complexity and scope. May perform multiple and parallel activities across projects and work with others on project issues to develop various resolution options.
Leads and works with technical resources on inter-functional projects to achieve key factors of project success, which include; project schedule, project cost, product cost, process / product quality, and transferability to manufacturing. Applies engineering problem solving skills in determining technical objectives of assignments while establishing and implementing corrective action plans where necessary.
Principal Duties:
Planning, assessing, and managing project management resources
Manage critical decision-making around competing priorities and/or high risk issues
Assure appropriate procurement and deployment of tooling for new products (NPI) into production
Manage financial performance of projects
Overseeing other project managers workloads and schedules
Position will be responsible for driving of NPI processes using project management skills
Plastics Molding Jobs Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's in Engineering.
A minimum of five years specializing in plastic tooling and/or molding processes.
A minimum of years years experience in engineering with increased project management roles.
Strong leadership experience of technical team members.
Demonstrated experience with MS Project.
Communicates well verbally, in writing, and graphically for internal customers and external suppliers.
A willingness and ability to travel (domestic & international).
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in plastic tool design and evaluation.
Demonstrated experience with one or more CAD software applications, Pro/ENGINEER preferred.
Creates clear and effective presentations to inform and persuade peers and managers.
SAP Knowledge and Experience.
Familiarity with Rockwell Automation / Allen Bradley Controls.
