Plastic Molding Jobs Position Description: Our client North of Seattle is seeking a Machinist/Technician which performs technician responsibilities by setting up and operating injection molding machines.

Plastic Moldig Jobs Primary Responsibilities:

• Plans and executes moderately complex assignments using machine tools;
• Sets up, performs and troubleshoots plastic injection molds
• Performs complex set ups and run times, optimizes parameters, tool change overs and mold machine set ups
• Executes work order scheduling, and dispatches list maintenance
• Estimates time and materials required to complete an assignment
• Supports design and assist with bids and proposals
• May support Production functions as needed
• Maintain the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above

Plastic Molding Jobs Qualifications:

• Ability to set up, perform, and troubleshoot plastic injection molds
• Capable of troubleshooting complex molds with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work with engineer designed reviews; detailed processing sheets
• Willing to work extra hours, and potentially weekends
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals
• Solid understanding of Lean principles
