We have a client in the South Atlanta GA area looking for a Process Blow Molding Technician. Our client is the leader in the tight-head plastic container industry & has experienced tremendous growth as result.
This is a full time job opportunity for mechanically inclined Process Blow Molding Technicians in their highly automated facility. Qualified candidates must be available for off shift hours, including 12 hour rotating schedule.
The Molding Technician position is very "hands-on" and will require making necessary changes and adjustments to the technical blow molding and auxiliary equipment as well as complete mold color changes. These individuals will be responsible for operating, monitoring, processing and repairing machines to maximize machine efficiency.
Specific Duties Include:
Operating a group of plastic blow molding machines and auxiliary equipment producing a container in a safe and high quality method.
Perform processing of blow molding machines to improve machine efficiency and reduce scrap.
Perform regular service and checks on all equipment, systems, molds and tooling in accordance with preventative maintenance schedules and maintain documentation as directed.
Make frequent on time quality checks on products being produced from established quality standards.
Identify and troubleshoot malfunctioning machines or equipment and effectively communicate machine operation variations with teammates and management to diagnose potential problems and complete necessary repairs.
This will be a temp to hire position.
1st shift hours are 6am-6pm and 2nd shift hour are 6p-6a.
Pay will be between $14-$15/hr and possibly up to $17.00/hr depending on experience.
Plastics Blow Molding Jobs Requirements
Their facility is highly automated and the ideal candidate needs to possess:
5+ years experience in a Process, Set-up or Maintenance capacity in a manufacturing environment, plastics experience a plus
Advanced mechanical and technical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and complex mechanical equipment.
Strong leadership traits.
Ability to perform and recognize bottle quality and operating efficiency.
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, technical or vocational training a plus.
Flexibility to work the continuous day/night schedule.
