Bottles continue to be a primary packaging form for Colgate products. The Blow Molding Subject Matter Expert (SME) is required to support all aspects of blow molding covering all conversion technologies; EBM, ISBM and IBM. The driving responsibility is to provide technical expertise while promoting world class best practices in all activities. The position should provide technical leadership in all areas of bottle manufacturing including; new bottle developments, new blow molding technologies, raw material developments related to blow molding, systematic approach to the optimization of blow molding processes, product engineering practices for package designs in all bottle technologies, selection of conversion process to achieve desired results of specific bottle designs, qualification of blow molding systems, trouble-shooting the blow molding process, continuous improvements, testing practices to validate package performance requirements, technical training, and focused approach to the lowest total delivered cost. - The Bottle SME is the primary technical resource to: Global and Regional packaging engineers, Global Design and Packaging Industrial designers, Procurement, supply chain engineering, in-house blow molding operations, and quality functions. The bottle SME is required to support innovation everywhere in the completion of all activates and specifically in the areas of investigating new and developing technologies with technical reviews and recommendations to the senior packaging directors.
