District Sales Manager

Thermotech, Inc. is one of the premier custom molders of close tolerance, engineered resins, producing parts for primarily the automotive, medical and electronics industries, and we’re looking for a District Sales Manager to join us. 

As a District Sales Manager at Thermotech, you will be a key member of our Sales team.  Utilizing your skills, you will coordinate sales activities of assigned manufacturer’s representative organizations or product lines and insure sales growth through selective development of new markets and territories.  You will assist in the training of the manufacturer’s representatives and keep the manufacturing department aware of customer needs to enhance opportunities to increase sales and market penetration.  You will also serve as the major contact between the Company, the assigned manufacturer’s representative organizations and selected accounts.  The challenges of this position differ from day to day, so you must be able to adapt to situations that require the ability to make fast, sound decisions in relation to your projects. 

District Sales Managers at Thermotech need the ability to read and understand complex part design drawings, plastic material characteristics and comparison of various material prices, knowledge of practical part re-design for ease of molding and optimum pricing.  You would also be required to understand functions of our equipment and the production procedures with which our company is most effective.  A high school diploma or GED is required for all positions at Thermotech.  The District Sales Manager position also requires a Bachelor’s degree or four years of specialized training.
