Job Description Pick up finished molded parts dropped from a robotic arm Trim excess plastic fragments (flash) using an Exacto knife Perform a quick inspection of part & set aside for packaging later May be required to operate more than 1 automated machine at a time, depending upon work load, staffing, and parts being molded Required to work hand load core molding machine 1 shift per week which requires operator to manually remove the part from the machine Operator then manually removes the mold from the part & inserts mold back into machine Trim excess flash using Exacto knife & sets aside for packaging At end of shift, drop parts in barrel & move using a 2-wheeler to warehouse area Requirements High School Diploma Minimum 1 year of injection molding experience. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (or as little as 3-4 lbs depending on size of core) for the manual core machines every 3-5 minutes Must be able to work with minimal supervision Constant standing while using the machines Must be able to lift up to 5 lbs for the robotic machines every 2 minutes Standing 100% of time – no sitting Must be detailed with steady hand to trim flash with Exacto knife Repetitive arm, wrist, and hand movements
